can anybody, who has done business with Steeldomus share his/her experience with me?
How reliable are they? Do they deliver as advertised, i.e. not with months of delays? Do they really charge the credit card only some days in advance of the delivery.

yes,reliable company. I was full of doubts because some months ago I had a bad experience with a company where a I bought a Barcelona in special price and the quality was not good. The lady at steldomus, instead of pushing me to make an order, insisted to wait to receive the leather samples I had requested. I received the samples after a few days and i decided to order a new barcelona, which I received within some weeks (probably four weeks, but it was Christmas time and Italians are not hard workers.......): it is really beautiful. I don't remenber when my card was charged, so all should be ok, otherwise I would remenber it! The only problem is that they should say clearly which articles are not available for the moment: when I made my order alu chair 105 by Eames was not available, but it was still in catalogue.

Received my Eames Lounge Chair
The question if Steeldomus is reliable, was answered for me today. I just received my Eames Lounge Chair Replika. Overall I am pleased. The only area, where the chair is remarkably different is are metal bridges holding the backrest. They are completely made of polished metal (which looks a bit odd) instead polished only on the top and the sides being finished in black.
No transport damages, no hassles. Delivery was one week after the card was charged.
