Besides Lucky Strike and Coca-Cola packaging, logos for Exxon and Shell, Studebaker cars, Greyhound bus and Coldspot refrigerator for Sears Roebuck & Company, Raymond Loewy also designed Habitat Capsules for Skylab.

Although we all still live on Planet Earth (or in Buckminster Fuller's words, Spaceship Earth) and International Space Station is not self-sufficient at all, Space Age itself has brought us many great inventions: Teflon, sneakers, solar panels and satellites etc.

Reader's Digest once told that scientists in Soviet Union have developed eye-drop-dispensing contact lenses.

Has any company productized such invention?

I ask this, because I want to get rid of my eye glasses, and after operation I need regular eye drops for couple of weeks. I'm sometimes absent-minded.

Sorry
I don't think they've ever been produced, at least as far as I'm aware.
