A close friend of mine is leaving Monday to visit Argentina, Peru, Bolivia and Ecuador. Do any of my DA friends have suggestions for must-see architecture? Modern and otherwise?

Inca Empire
If your friend is going to Peru, Ecuador, Bolivia and North Argentina. No doubt that Inca culture and architecture will be the real interesting side of the trip, as well as some colonial architecture.
Yes!, of course Machu Pichu will be a must!
Cuzco, the Inca Capital is fascinating and full of interesting examples of both Inca and Colonial Architecture.
In Lima, will find great colonial examples but also some good contemporary architecture. Arquitectonica Studio comes to mind, post-modern buildings.
In Bolivia, Lake Titikaka is a must see.
And In Ecuador Galapogos Islands!
I don't know if Buenos Aires is in the list of places to visit. I'll prepare a list 😉
