Hi! I recently attended an auction of Danish furniture that had just come over from Denmark. Much of it had aftermarket/replacement legs added to the original mid-century cases. These legs were quite nice, turned, well-proportioned. MUCH better than what we can get here for reasonable prices (i.e. Waddell.) I know Tablelegs.com has some fairly nice ones but they are very pricey and not quite as nice as the Danish ones.

Does anyone have a source for the Danish ones? I tried searching Danish classified sites but I don't speak the language so I didn't get very far 🙂

Here are some photos of the legs I am talking about.

Hi there. Try shopping local. Cabinet & countertop shops can make almost any leg you could want. I've recently had some drawer pulls made by a machinist in town and they were reasonable.

I've seen nice ones on Ebay from time to time without even really looking for them. I got two or three sets in the past at local auctions, also without really looking. They're out there.
But yeah--what powbum said, too.

I've had good luck on etsy buying both vintage and reproduction.
