whoa!
I assumed from the commercial pics with the all-white background, that the Sonneman lamp was short. But now that I see it pictured with furniture, I can see the scale of the lamp. Those arms are huge and crane-like, which is why the center post looked so short!
Nice collection btw.
Thanx
it's really huge...much bigger than I remember my late friend's real one. Also, I think his had a more flat tripod base.
so, the red shade out of range is lighting up the ceiling, the yellow will illuminate the sofa (when I get one) and the white will be the light for the Aalto lounge chair.
I see what you mean.,....
All of the items are unpriced (email to get price), which is a total turn-off.
Honest MCM websites proudly display their fair price, which anyone would have to pay.
I'm not fond of emailing a website to ask for the price and get quoted a price that's 20% higher than the previous guy was quoted...because the store's electric bill got delivered....
Tynellbuyer, you really have a negative attitude
There's no reason for such violent snottiness. If you must know, the blinds came with the house, and although they're not my color scheme, they're good enough quality and I've come to like them....but there's no polite reason for you to comment and I shouldn't have to defend my furnishings.
I have definite opinions about things (and I'm not that politicallly correct) but instead saying something is hideous, I usually state it's "not my cup of tea". Unlike you, I'm not interesting in being vicious.
I don't understand why you have deemed yourself to be some kind of knowledgable appraser who feels it appropriate to negatively comment about a person's furnishings?
I would appreciate if you keep your p*ss and vinegar comments to yourself.
everyone is entitled to ...
Like James just said about the statement "everyone is entitled to their opinion" but that is the nice thing about this forum,
Really no one should get defensive about what somewhat else says. I know i use to, but it only a forum
i am sure what tynellbuyer said is not meant in a mean spirited way, I hope,
Barry if you are happy with your Dusty Rose Blinds that is all that matters, you are the one who lives with them, but i think what Tynellbuyer means is you like to buy and show us all your clocks, and i know we all enjoy your purchases, perhaps a renovation of the Dusty Rose Blinds could use a update in the midcentury modern home that you are developing,
