Sonneman Orbiter?  

Hi,
I picked up what appears to be a Sonneman Orbiter (or vintage copy) at a yard sale. Its in a fairly sorry state since the base is missing, but the chrome and fittings are in pretty good shape. I would like to repair and use it if I can.
I can't find any markings on the lamp to identify the manufacturer, and googling hasn't helped much. There seem to be many permutations and variations of thumbscrews and hardware, with no combination I've seen looking like the lamp I bought. From the pics, can anyone identify it?
Now to the base - all that is left is a collar threaded onto the main arm. I presume the collar was firmly held in the base at one point in time. Does anyone know of a good source for replacement lamp parts? Specifically a big heavy base that would work?
