Solve This puzzle  

Last weekend I bought these three walnut veneer units which I have stag on top of each other in the pics. They from 1960's, however if you see the pic with the arrows - there are matching holes on both sides of these pieces indicating that at one point of their lives they were hold up by a bracket or a side brace or a base. Anyone has seen these as a complete unit? If so, who was the designer or the the manufacturer? So far I have not been able to locate any marking on them but they look and feel very Danish. My gratitude in advance for your feedback.
