Who's got a 50" to 65" cool sofa for sale?

My first choice is the Eames Sofa, but crickey, it's $7000.00!

Second choice are two rare George Nelson setees that I can get for $3200.00 for the pair plus shipping, but their covered in a nice oatmeal fabric that looks a lot like my carpet.

Third choice is if I would find a Florence Knoll sofa, but there's no two-seaters around and I'm NOT spending $9000.00+ for a new one.

I have decided against the Swan Sofa and Eames Sofa Compact because I want one with arms and I've been told that neither are particularly comfortable.

I thought about the La Courbusier's but I don't know if I want black leather and they are a bit too early for such a major focal point.

Any affordable ideas?

Thanx in advance!

Let's get outside of the box...
Let's get outside of the box on this one a little, eh?
Whatabout something in a poly velour? I'm thinking rusts and reds...maybe an autumnal hunting scene print. Accessorize with cigarette burns and maybe a sweaty soggy gym sock draped across one arm. Maybe a broken crayon and some pistachio shells under one cushion. If you could make the whole thing smell vaguely of french fries...
That $9000 Knoll is suddenly looking pretty promising, eh?

the swan hàs arms, I...
the swan hàs arms, I believe..?
maybe the 3300, by Jacobsen? personally I really like
its rational look, combined with the rusty color finch enthousiastically suggested, it could well work out.
take a look, it can be to understated for the place you had in mind.

.
Hold out for a vintage F.KNOLL she did a number of great sofas ( boxy, classic to use a well worn word)...office supplies are a place to look...Tricks with sofas are difficult to meld into interiors...her furniture designs are great fill in/background pieces as she called them.

Martin Visser BR02
Being Dutch, it had to be a Martin Visser adustable sofa / bed over here...
They've been around longer than myself and I've craved one ever since I was a kid. Still love its simplicity.
Last pic shows ours, an original 50s number we recently had reupholstered in a grey marl Kvadrat Hallingdal by Nanna Ditzel.

nogucchi made a great loo...
nogucchi made a great looking bio morphic style sofa
I owned a eames compact and it was not a comfortable or functional sofa just cool to look at.
You might check Valdemer Kagan and Harvey Probber
they are the the two hottest designers going at this time for 60s 70s sofas, from what i heard at the show in Palm Springs, there sofas are going through the roof in price and ability to be able to be acquired.
