There is a page for Slow Design but I thought the Slow Art page was better, sorry SDR there is a Hughes quote, but its a good one 🙂

that statement . . . I wonder what brought it on ?
On a related plateau, I have become more convinced over time that, the more thought is put into a design, the more there is for the beholder to receive from it. The pleasure of discovery, the revelation of nuance, take time -- commensurate with the time that was spent on developing and refining the design ?

There is just so much shallow hustle now, here and everywhere else.
And of course, I agree, some designs can ferment in the mind for decades (Pantons chair?)...its worth the wait.
