Side Table ID  

Can anyone identify the designer/maker of this side table? I've spent hours trying to dig up any information, but come up short. It's got shades of Edward Wormley and Paul McCobb, but I haven't found anything quite like it. It's really well made. The base and legs are solid walnut (I think) and they come together under a sculpted piece of solid brass. The top is laminate and there is a brass inlay in the center. I've come across a table lamp that has the same base in my searches but there was no leads on an ID. Any help would be appreciated.
