My younger sister lives in LA and has been offered this dining set that we know is Sibast.
Does anyone know the designer..could it be Vodder?

Anybody any idea what would be a fair price to pay in the US/SoCal? (as I'm in England and have no idea)

Thanks

Robert

the arm detail
is rather Borge Mogensen, he liked those sort of wing arm rests. as well as the sort of boxy form
I'm going to google Borge and see what I find

not that I knew
either. But I am not nearly the expert as some here. Those designers did get around quite a bit. And stylistically, it has alot of his tricks

The table
I'm pretty sure IS Vodder, but can't say for sure on the chairs or sideboard.
She's going to get a better pic of the sideboard/buffet.

She's on her way to see it as we type..
But has got another pic to share.
The designer name is not imperative, I just don't want my little sis to get ripped off as she doesn't has the knowledge, or the great knowledge base (i.e here) that I have.

It looks like an OS 37 Vodder Sideboard Robert, but it is difficult to be certain given the quality of the image.

Anybody got any ideas of a fair price to pay?

fwiw
In our area, the mcm shops generally will ask around $2500-$3000 for a vodder sideboard in a very good condition.

Thanks Everyone
for your help!
Yes, I agree the table and sideboard are Vodder, but the chairs remain a mystery.
They were all bought together in 1963 apparently.
I've told her to buy it!
