I hope people don't mind my starting another thread for this subject. There are so many great lamps out there!

Here is an interesting link (below photo) that shows a great selection of European and Scandinavian lighting.
I found this site when I was searching for a lamp
(picture below) I recently picked up. Unfortunately, it oly lists the manufacturer, ASEA, but not the designer.

My taste
I have and enjoy the entire metamorfosi series, but the Pierluigi Nicolin, Iride metamorfosi floor lamps for Artemide is my favorite

Can anyone help me identify my new arc lamp?
I found this today at an estate sale -- and I need help identifying it! Anyone seen one of these before?

I have seen your lamp attributed to Paul Mayen for Habitat, UK. Hope this helps your search.

I was going to say that it looks like a Kovacs lamp. I've not seen that Mayen attribution. Most of the Mayen lamps I'm familiar with have translucent shades rather than opaque, but here is an example apparently marked Habitat.
Does yours have a label on the socket as well?

Hi. yes, it has the yellow label on the socket. I added the picture of the label on Flickr. The word "Habitat" is not completely visible!
Thanks for the information. I was going to paint the base black, but I think I will leave it as is!
