Sofa Compact pics!!
I'm looking for some detail pictures of correctly upholstered Sofa Compacts, specifically the backs and nether regions. We recently got one that was upholstered incorrectly and I would like to see some pictures of original or correctly reupholstered Sofa Compacts so that I can show these photos to upholsters for bidding purposes.
Thanks for your help.

Mine has been reupholstered and I don't think photos will be much use to you; HOWEVER, I do have one bit of advice. Make sure you specify the density of the foam to your upholsterer. I wasn't very familiar with upholstery work at the time mine was done, and this thought didn't even cross my mind -- as a result, my sofa is far too soft. It's extremely comfortable, but it's not correct at all. (Sad face.)

Yeah, the foam...
...was it originally latex? I would seriously look into that, at least for the seat. It's so much more resilient than polyfoam, even in the same density. And make sure that the foam on the back is softer (less dense) than the seat. If they're the same density, the back will feel too firm. If you do a softer and firmer combo, they will feel the same.

Thanks Spanky...
that was a good call, there were some good examples on 1st Dibs.
Also great advice on foam density.
I would still LOVE a good detail photo of the SEAM at the bottom on the backs of the two back supports. I'm assuming that an experienced uphosterer will see it and say something to the effect of, "Oh, that's a yada yada, we can do that". If anyone can provide one it would be much appreciated.
