Hope the New Year has been treating everyone well so far.
I am contemplating whether or not to sell my Herman Miller White Ash LCW's (circa 2007). I have two that have been replaced by a few knock off's (Barcelona chair and Eames DAW). Blasphemy I know, but they were free (pretty much) and I suppose I welcomed a change.
Should I sell them or put them in storage? How would one go about properly storing these chairs?
Would you keep them with the speculation that you may want to use them again someday?
Thanks in advance and I look forward to your collective wisdom.

Try some common sense here. Your examples are not particularly special and you don't really care about them. You do not seem to be an enthusiast.
To store chairs just keep them at a dry room temperature. Take them apart and wrap parts in cloth if necessary to avoid damage.
I would either keep them or turn them into something cooler

Thank you for your response. I respect the knowledge and opinions of this board and that's why I brought my questions here.
I would consider myself an enthusiast, perhaps not on the same level as some here.
The reason they were replaced was because of a change in my floor plan. The new chairs work better in the given space. I am hope to upgrade to authentic versions one day, but I think a real Knoll chair would be out of my budget.
I agree, that the LCWs are not particularly special/hard to obtain, should I ever want to acquire them again. This is the only reason why I'm considering to sell.

Like you said, Eames LCW is not that difficult to find since those are newer editions. The way I see it, why keep them in a storage only to collect dust? I would have sold them to Eames' enthusiast who will appreciate those chairs and display them. In the meantime, save the money for your future knoll chair. You will never know how soon you might get the opportunity to get one.

Thank you Dodolah. That makes perfect sense.
