So many people trying to ID furniture like this...
... and aside from the obvious big name design 101 stuff, seems everyone is pretty clueless. wasn't always like that, so my question is, where have all the experts gone?
I'm no expert, but you...
I'm no expert, but you should put your associated web link in the box that reads 'associated web link'. (Going back to being clueless now.)

Expert?
It could just be a generic chair, made by a company who gathered a few ideas from other designs and produced a chair. I have been a dealer for over 15years and I wouldnt call myself an expert about all mid century furniture every month I see two or three bits I know nothing about.
I am asuming this was meant as a poke at the egos of other members to try and answer your question. I would try compliments next time as insults never seem to work.
I think all the experts are tired
of answering all these "ID this piece" threads from folks who show up here once and have surly attitudes. Or maybe they've all been abducted by aliens who want help with their paint colors, rug types, dining table to go with the chairs just scored on ebay and replacement part for their Eames Lounge.
Geesh!
that chair was made...........
by Klingon craftsmen in the period of 1972-1976 in the alpha centauri region of what is now know as the french-canadian crescent valley.
they were built using old-growth peanut wood and are very rare.
i believe the designer's name was Victor Shackapoplis
I'm really not trying to be...
I'm really not trying to be a snob. But the members are here to talk about good design - not to appraise random retro, flea market finds for a snarky visitor who will not return. . And the truth is, if you present something that is so obviously uninspired to the table - chances are you are not quite a "design" addict ...
