Hi there. Does anyone have suggestions for how to pack and ship an eames lounge chair and ottoman from NYC to Hong Kong for a not outrageously expensive price?
Thanks!

If there were a cheap solution to that problem, it would surely be ill-advised.

USPS
Disassemble it and ship it via USPS in multiple boxes.

If I remember correctly, when I tried to ship the seat panel of the 670 (the largest single piece of the set) through USPS, it exceeded their size limit.

From Michigan, I sent a set of 6 Nelson Swag Leg chairs to Japan in about a dozen boxes and I just shipped a Nelson Marshmallow Sofa to France again in multiple boxes.
