Selrite interest

The only person I know of who has any interest at all in Selrite furniture is myself and my interest is purely scholarly. I have absolutely no interest in collecting the stuff at all.
If you wish for something to be appraised the best thing to do would be to go to a local antique appraiser.

I have the option to buy this sofa a Selrite Penthouse Collection. I too can not find anything out about the compnay, its history, its age or collectability and have only seen one other and found a refference here with someone in the same boat as I am. Someone stated they have "scholorly" interest but shed no light. I would love to know some history on this company, their quality and collectability or be directed to a good information base to eductate myself. My wife loves this sofa and its going to cost quite a bit to bring it back to the land of the living.

I too am curious about the sofa-information is fairly scarce. I have a blue one with patterned back cushions. Excellent bones and quite comfortable, but certainly needing new fabric.
