I inherited this set of two chairs and two side tables recently and would love to know roughly what it's worth. Any insight would be appreciated. Two of the arms have repaired cracks where they join the back, and the finish has normal wear and tear. The cushions and foam are pristine as is the webbing. The bottom has a red button that says "made and imported and finished by selig denmark". Any idea who the designer is? Thanks.

just
head to ebay and see what the going rate is.
I have sold quite a few selig armchairs and it varies. The more desirable one's have the continuous arms (not a flat surface extended arm). Good luck though.

I have the same chair. Kofod Larsen according to the Selig catalog.
Looks like the straps on yours have been replaced.

peteremsley, why do you say...
peteremsley, why do you say they look replaced?
Those look like the standard Fagas straps you'd find in most danish stuff.

They look new, gray and tight (like the ones from Evans), rather than yellowed and perrished.

Thank you!
Thanks so much for the helpful and very quick replies! That's really cool to see the original photo of the chair (I guess from an ad?).
I know it's hard to put a price on something you haven't seen in person, but I would like to sell the set, and just have no idea what a fair price is. Can anyone give me even a ballpark idea? I'm thinking I'll put them on eBay with local pickup (I'm near a big city - Philly).

mamadino -- you'll find that...
mamadino -- you'll find that folks are reluctant to quote prices. It's against the forum rules. Checking eBay history (or worthpoint, if you're a member) is really your best bet.
