Seeking clear glass hanging bud vases  

I visited Italy a decade ago, and found an area with fine interior design shops, and bought three small clear glass globe vases, approximately 3 or 4' in diameter. They featured a bendable wire that wrapped inside the glass, and also came through the neck of the glass so that you could hang the vases after putting little flowers in them. Adorable - special - gorgeous. I loved them. Until? my young nephew visited and shattered them! Have you ever heard of these? Can't seem to find them anywhere here in the US, and don't remember where I bought them in Italy. Many thanks for any clues you might offer?
