I could never afford it before, but I am buying new furniture and I am trying to find the Luc sofa. Restoration Hardware appears to have discontinued this model, however I understand it is a Mitchell Gold design. It is a three cushion sofa with a tight back and low profile square arms. I would give my left arm to find a sleeper in leather. If anyone has any leads I would aprreciate it.

I bought the Mitchell Gold "Luc" sofa
from a Storehouse Furniture outlet
in Northern VA. I was lucky - the sleeper sofa cost $800 and it was upholstered it a wonderful fabric (almost like a suiting fabric).
I like the Luc sofa. The regular Luc sofa (as opposed to the sofa bed), however, is much more comfortable.
The sofa bed version is a bit too firm for me.
Restoration Hardware sells the Luc with a leather upholstery - very nice.

I own the Luc sofa in leather, not the sleeper. Am considering selling it before moving to my new place. The buyers of my current place are asking for it too. Are you in New York? If you want it, let me know or make an offer. It is in fantastic showroom condition, as I rarely sat used it and cleaned it as Mitchell Gold recommends every six months.
