Gunlocke jumped to mind based on some features but looking closer I didn't think so. Also I haven't run across to many Gunlocke that didn't have the metal medallion. Any idea how prevelent it is to see paper only?
I take it the front legs were chopped in order to put casters on? That's a shame. You don't typically see that on a 'modern' chair do you?

Hello, yes it is a shame about the front legs. The ball casters though are also period pieces. Could they have possibly been designed this way? I bought them from a law office. The primary partner has been practicing law for 55 years. He also had a pair of the pictured chairs below by Poul Kjærholm.
