These chairs have Pirelli webbing and are finely made. There were paper labels on them but only the corners of the tag remain. Was hoping someone could help me identify them.

look sort of like
Gunlocke chairs I have handled, especially the back piece and arms.
The way the arm attaches to the base is weird, though.
Gunlocke DID use paper labels also (as well as brass name medallions on some chairs)

What waffle said...
Gunlocke jumped to mind based on some features but looking closer I didn't think so. Also I haven't run across to many Gunlocke that didn't have the metal medallion. Any idea how prevelent it is to see paper only?
I take it the front legs were chopped in order to put casters on? That's a shame. You don't typically see that on a 'modern' chair do you?

Hello, yes it is a shame...
Hello, yes it is a shame about the front legs. The ball casters though are also period pieces. Could they have possibly been designed this way? I bought them from a law office. The primary partner has been practicing law for 55 years. He also had a pair of the pictured chairs below by Poul Kjærholm.
