I found this chair in a friends basement. Brought it into the daylight after many years in hybernation. I have not been able to ID after exhaustive searching. Any suggestions or thoughts.
Hope you all had a happy holiday and will have a prosperous new year.

Can we try this again...
I received no feedback on this before so wanted to try one more time to see if anyone has any ideas on who the maker might be. I have struck out in my search. Thanks and Happy New Year.

Funny, isn't it --
or sad -- that, if this were the work of a famous name, there'd be endless discussion, and knock-offs, and price wars, etc etc. Instead, it goes begging -- though there's nothing inherently inferior about its design. This example may not be in its original clothing; note the seam in the first large photo that doesn't follow the line of the frame. And of course that floral doesn't exactly shout "MCM" -- does it.
