I have searched for three years now for authentic pads for my patio chairs with no joy. Tired of receiving a grid pattern in my butt every time I sit on them, I made my own.
Have any of you ever seen the real pads for these chairs? What did they look like and where did you stumble upon them?
I still have 4 of the armless, smaller ones that I need to cover.

Here is what the originals look like
We just recently got this amazing set of Woodard in freakishly mint original condition. All of the original pads, glides and even the finish is in perfect condition. Just like new. We bought it from another dealer, but it had just come out of a vintage estate where it had spent all it's life on an enclosed patio.
I should probably make a pattern of the original cushions before we sell the set in case we ever want to replicate them. Though we use the same Woodard sculptura in our yard, none of our pieces have cushions and we find them perfectly comfortable. All that is, except the sofa. We have a cushion we put on that if we will using it for any length of time. Since it's longer, the seat is more flat and not as comfortable as the chairs without some cushion.
They are really sweet, huh?
I still can't get over the condition of this set. I hope it can continue to live in a protected environment, I'd hate to see it deteriorate now.
The cushions are held in place by flexible plastic strips which are stitched to the pad and threaded through the wire mesh. I hope that makes sense, maybe I can take a detail photo so you can see better.
