this afternoon I was looking thru arnet.com for recent sale prices of saarinen table and chair sets when i stumbled upon these bar stools which have been attributed to saarinen.

the longer that i looked at them, the more familiar they looked until I realized that I have a set that looks almost identical.
so, did saarinen make counter height stools? if so, how rare are they, what are they worth and how do mine look?
thanks

Fake can imply
Fake can imply that there is an unauthentic copy of an existing piece or it can imply that there is something that is attributed to someone who didn't actually create it.
Example: VanMeegeren created fake Vermeer paintings during WWII. He didnt copy paintings he created new ones and attributed them to Vermeer.
It is doubtful that your pieces are Saarinen. There are no returns for Saarinen counter stools on Knoll's photobank or on Architonic, or on Wright etc. Probably a copy of the executive series by someone like Burke- much in the same manner Modernica is making "eames" counter stools these days.
