Does anyone like or desire the beige Tulip sets or are they going to paint them over white. You don't see them so do we call them rare or less desired. Just wondered. thanks for any help all you mid century lovers.
AKA putty
I heard this color, discontinued long ago, was called "putty". I have a putty side table and the base is SO neutral it largely disappears. There was an apocryphal story told by a design professor in Orono, Me. that Saarinen preferred the putty color as it resembled modeling clay.
Color is near light green
The custion covers were replaced and are green and you would think that there is a tint of green in the set. We still have the original custions brown. We love it.
