I have one of the Samsonite Rusell Wright chair that some fool painted red. The underside of the seat is original and has the label, but the paint has some rust and discoloration.
I have found color palettes online of the Wright ceramics, but not of the paints used on the furniture. Is this something that exists? Any suggestions for that funky yellow green color he used on the chairs? If I had a clean section of paint I could get it sampled at a paint store, but the paint under the seat is too messed up and difficult to access.
Thanks
Good question
I had a open house this past weekend but due to the condition of the RW chairs, I did not use outdoor furniture which I was roundly poo pooed for. I do have three RW chairs in separate colors of which I could get samples. I will be pursuing this this summer and hope to update with what the paint gurus come up with.
.
Maybe just give Manitoga a call. Even if they don't know
immediately, they should be able to find out.
I live nearby but no plans to stop in.
