Hi, I am trying to restore a Robin Day moulded lounge chair 658 and it is missing it's original fabric and screws that bolt the ply to the metal frame.
If anyone owns one and can supply a pic of the original screws I would really appreciate it. Based In Australia, so very little info here.

This chair does not have padding on the back and I have read that it is because it was an export version for the U.S. Market. This chair does have a sticker for a U.S. Supplier called John Stuart.

Any help is always appreciated.

Thank you,
Tick

I think the chair likes being in Australia but I will
let you know if I hear of another wanting to go home.
Is this chair rare in the U.K? I also have a moulded dining
chair 661 which turned up on ebay in Melbourne. I can't find
any detailed info on either of these chairs. I think they are an
important part of the British design history but there seems
to be little interest in Brit midcentury furniture outside of the U.K.
