Does anyone know where I might find some reference material for the 50's 60's and 70's, on the furniture produced and retailed by.. Robert Heritage....Archie Shine ... & Heal's We have a sideboard which I'm familiar with for its construction, but it has no makers label. I need to know more.

Start with the obvious source...
Start with the obvious sources like the Studio Year Books, David Joel's two books on British furniture, the three Glenister Woodwork books, the Hatje New Furniture books and the Designers in Britain books (7 of these between 1947 and 1971) etc as well as any modern design auction catalogues and dealers websites. Old issues of Design magazine can be useful as can old issues of House & Garden and the like.

Post some photos?
Are you able to post some photos? I have some books with Heritage bits in and may be able to help.

Pics would be good?
Archie Shine was a furniture maker baed in Clapton, london E5
A lot of people think all their stuff wa designed by R. Heritage, this is not the case..a lot of stuff was designed in-house, and retailed through Heal's and the like
