Wondering what people here think about the Risom Rocker? (New to the site so forgive me if it's been discussed previously, but I couldn't find anything in the archives...)

I think it's a beautiful piece that I'm considering getting, but am curious to know if anyone has any thoughts on it first, as there's not much out there on the web yet?

seen that before -- so thanks ! I like it more than some of his seating pieces -- though the expanded-width upper portion of the back is a little abrupt, maybe ?

abrupt yes
I don't like it. It isn't very subtle at all, which is what is nice about most of his pieces. The silhouette could be a lot more graceful IMO.

I don't mind it.
It's a logical extension to the Risom armchair that DWR also revived. Certainly not one of his most fluid designs, but it is true to his style.

Thanks for the head's up on eBay, but unfortunately, I'd want it in a non-stock color. As much as I like the tiger lily, it doesn't really work for me with everything else I have.
