I bought what I believe is a Risom Lounge chair though I?m puzzled by the visible screws at the confluence of the back leg and base of the chair. I?m unsure if the ones being produced now have the screws exposed. Has anyone seeing a Risom lounge chair with flat screws like this?
Thanks in advance.

Is your chair new or...
Is your chair new or vintage? Arm or armless? We are talking about the Knoll chair, correct?

if you look at the back of...
if you look at the back of the chair where it joins the back leg, there is a screw exposed. I used to have this chair, and now have an arm version. I couldn't remember, but now can say with certainty that there is a screw exposed on each side.

Yes
There are screws, but they are not visible from the outside of the frame.
BTW, reactcreative, the image you posted is a knock-off.

I know that it's a knock off. I couldn't find an image that demonstrated it so I used that.

Risom lounge chair
here it is.
Old or fake
Here's a detail of the screws. Is this an early Risom chair or a knock off?
Thanks
Rob

Hmm
Perhaps the screws were added later? Are there any mounting holes on the inside of the legs?

not sure
I have a pretty old example and it doesn't have screws there. Also the joint on mine is centered more posterior to the leg.
