Any idea how much a chair like that is worth?
since 1964 in my Family,Reuphostered(not Knoll Material)
Thank You!
really lunchbox ??
2-2.5k?
that sounds like high retail..... or wright20 pricing. this chair has no ottoman and the upholstery looks marginal.
its been my experience that vintage womb chairs and vintage bertoia bird chairs are hard to sell and do not really command a premium. when it comes down to it i think people prefer to buy both designs new, and those that are looking for vintage want something pristine and done correctly.
if it were me i would offer $600-$800 wholesale and be happy if i sold it for double.
i think the seller should ask $1,500 for it if he wants to sell it, otherwise it will take awhile to sell. if he wants to hang on to it with the knowledge that high retail value is 2-2.5k that would a nice number to think about while ownership is retained.
