Hello,
I recently bought a nice set of three of the Kofod Larsen lounge chairs; the ones with the black metal frame, upholstered seat bottom, and bent plywood back. None of them have feet, though, and I'm worried about the bar metal ends ruining the floor. It seems like they should have little rubber caps to go over them; does anyone know where I can find some replacements?
Thanks!

my local ace hardware has the end caps you are talking about in many different sizes. however, my old larsen chair has metal glides for feet - about 3/4" in diameter.

Peter,
Thank you for your reply. Would you mind taking a photo of the glides your chair has? I am looking at mine and I am not sure how they would even mount on the ends...
Thanks!
Mike

My Kofod Larsen "penguin" chairs have steel rod legs with feet that are probably not original, but I believe they are similar to what they originally had. One has feet of hard black plastic, and the other chair has smaller feet that are a little more of a pliable plastic, but I do not think they are rubber. I think that you will likely be able to track down some black plastic caps in the right size at a hardware store, or perhaps online.

If you look at this vintage photo of the chair, you can see that the original feet look like the first photo tchp posted.
