Hi everybody, I have an Eames EA 222 lounge chair, unfortunately the rotation becomes more and more difficult, the resistance movement is quite heavy.
I would like to know if it's possible to disassemble the chair for lubricating the technic, or do I risk to damage the chair by doing it?

I don't think that the swivel is intended to be lubricated. If it's binding, something's amiss.
Upon closer inspection, though, it seems there is an extra bit of hardware on your chair that I'm not familiar with. It appears just above the tortion bar and your arrow and seems to be in line with the post. Is it some means of adjustment?

I don't see anything weird, although I'm going to assume you're in Europe and that's a Vitra-made version as it has the extra antler/rib/stretcher at the front of the seat.
My experience is with the Herman Miller versions, but with both the contract and universal (what you have) bases, if you flip the chair over there will be an opening underneath the base in the center. In that opening there will be a pin with a "C" clip surrounding it. There are two small holes in that c-clip. Using a spanner wrench, you need to remove that c-clip. After that just wiggle and pull until the base separates from the center column.
