Everyone who has vintage or antique furniture should own a can of this.
Multi functional and a must have. Dont take my word for it, google it.

Been using it since the '80's
on furniture and bronzes in museums. I like that it's "water-white", will not yellow, and easy to remove.
A good, commonly available paste wax, like Briwax or Liberon, is fine for most finished wooden household furnishings and surfaces, but Renaissance Wax is nice to have on hand for special pieces, I agree. I've used it on stone, too.
My can says it's for use on leather, ivory, and marble. But it does contain petroleum distillates, so I'd give those recommendations a second thought, especially with items of substantial value and/or age.
