I really hope that this fine modern set will not get rejected!

It is not an iconic piece but this 1970s table with chromed steel base and thick solid wood and veneer top sure is built like a tank too and worth more than the $50 asking price if scrapped for its heavy gauge steel base.

Looks like the Ribbon sold, to the only bidder, for $99.99. Wow.

Ah, I see. The Goodwill site didn't explicitly say that the bidding hadn't met the chair's reserve price, so I assumed that it had sold.

It is unfortunate that the ribbon chair and ottoman ended up getting acquired by an ebay dealer (vs. a deserving designIDict person). On the bright side, now that a higher dollar amount is attached to it, this used/second hand item is no longer considered low brow.

It has been over a month and I am not sure if anyone could get to this. It is in the middle of a corn field with a Walgreen's.

It is strange some of the coolest items out there are in the middle of nowhere.
Porcelain sink and built-in faucet with original matching R2D2 controls by Henry Dreyfuss for Crane, a descendant of the late 1930's iconic 'Neuvogue' model also for Crane.

Here's some less squirmy images of the Crane sinks by Dreyfuss.
I hope that sink is getting replaced by a more famous one by Gio Ponti for Ideal Standard with an Arne Jacobsen faucet.
