Priced next to nothing and definitely not anonymous but for whatever reasons fell through the cracks. Hiding in plain sight, encountered a really picky buyer or someone just looking to furnish the front porch or the rear deck or worse just sank into oblivion and faded away...

Kind of heartbreaking to any 'Shu' fan.

These could use some help but will most likely end up in an alley somewhere for trash pick up.

Don't give up hope on the Braun. Some Craigslister gave me $70 for an old Leica slide projector with a wired remote. Somebody out there has a bunch of old Kodachrome slides, and would love to have a "period correct" projector.

Ho-nez,
Leica and Zeiss optics rule (still the best of the best). I appreciate the Braun D5 Combiscope slide projector's simple design.
minimoma,
The market for quality may be small, but it is ever present. Your Braun projector will eventually sell.

These are recent posts 'mugshots' online of when bad things happen to good design.
I already own most of these so I forward them for others to have a stab at modern icons of design for less except some look at it like it has ebola or others, if it requires inhaling and exhaling air, it is just too much work.

I told the seller to post an image of the back of the chairs maybe she will get more than just my inquiry. She said "huh?"

No one recognized the two armchairs and coffee table when it was not photographed in their natural setting, an Italian pallazzo with fresco as shown in the 1970's ad.

Mirella and Lydia's heavy duty sibling Nova as seen with Sophia Loren in the 1950's ad.

It could be an interesting weekend DIY project even for a beginner.

The Braun hand stitched saddle leather handle of the case alone cost more to make today than the $19.99 + shipping buy it now price.
