Who's Sandra Lee?
is she Sarah Lee's grand daughter? or perhaps Pinky Lee?
(Jeez, it's getting difficult to get a compliment here, these days)

Gag!
I absolutely cannot tolerate that woman! And the entire concept of 'semi-homeade' irritates the bejeezus out of me. I'd much rather take barry's noisy sheets that put up with even 5 minuts of that dippy woman! Ok, now for how I really feel....hwarf!

If you looking for bright...
If you looking for bright pops of color, why not go the Marimekko route? Seems like a no-brainer to me

Marimekko's a bit too expensive
A full size sheet is over $30.00, usually.
I don't have any sets as bright as the Ralph Lauren's, but the quality is super good and it'll be my 'summer look this winter'.

sorry.
I had to google a few variations of the name to find her.
Sarah dee, etc.
Now i'm pissed that i know her name.
(i bet she has those sheets)
I just don't get it.
Of all the choices out there...
As Olive says, get good quality solids and throw in some fun
seasonal prints.
Marimekko is a no-brainer.
Just get the pillow cases.
Overstock has great 1200tc white cotton for summer.
And great flannels for winter. (i like the bedroom cold, no heat)
Mix and match the solids.

Marimekko
I have the dark grey/black Marimekko cloth shower curtain that I bought years ago on sale at Crate and Barrel. The temp. dropped in Phoenix and I didnt have enough blankets (busy med. resident) so I ripped open the shower cutain package and used it as a quilt that winter. I never used it for the shower. It is now a cover for my small parrot's night cage.
The bed set is a little bright for me, Barry, but I bet you have to see it in person to appreciate it.

I personally don't like it...
I personally don't like it at all. But if you like that's all that's important.

Hmm. Set of two "fuck" pillow cases, for $225.
When I FIRST saw them, I thought them pointlessly crude-- but, now that I see that they cost $225, they suddenly take on a dignified 1,000 thread-count splendor.
A fine line between vulgar & refined, n'est-ce pas?

I see them appealing more to
a blue-collar lottery-winner type, who suddenly finds himself getting laid after a lifetime of celibacy. Who but a recent virgin would find the word "fuck" so titillating?
That's the irony of self-conscious potty-talk and shock value-- if it appeals to you, it's only proof of neophytism, not sophistication.

In spite of your remarks, W-H-C
I still like it and I'll enjoy it.
Humorous or not, I'm surprised at how mean-spirited some of the replies are.
Instead of some of you not like the design of the bedding, you make comments about the person's intelligence. This is a real surprise...and not a nice one.
