How serendipitous, I'm making a steel framed chair right now which I was thinking of doing with leather a bit like that, could you photograph how it is fastened at the back and underside?

This chair is located in Pennsylvania, U.S. Unfortunately this is the only photograph I have/am able to get. I live a few states away, and this thing is in a barn, owned by a guy who couldn't care less about what happens to it.
I wish I had more information to help this along!
Edit: Obviously here it is pictured in a van- it is now sitting in a barn.

I don't want this to slip into design-oblivion. Any leads, or thoughts? I think this chair has a lot of potential!

Why don't you just buy it
It is really cool and will probably end up being something, not all great designs have great designers attached to them. If you don't go for it, why not put the contact info on the forum and let someone else save it.

I'm working with someone else...
I'm working with someone else on this and we aren't in constant contact. It's not as easy as just buying it- there are a lot of factors involving the owner of this thing. If it were up to me I'd buy it right away, designer or not.
So, in the meantime, I'm trying to hustle all of you for some info!

I've been studying the produce of Max Gottschalk and while I doubt its him, I can't help noticing the similarities in look, feel, and construction. I'm posting this hoping maybe it sparks a lead in some way.

I looked through California...
I looked through California Design 9, California Design 10, California Design 11, California Design 1930-1965, California Design: The Legacy of West Coast Craft and Style, and A Handbook of California Design, 1930-1965....no luck in any of these books. I don't have California Design 8.....maybe its in there-its going to be very tricky to find designer/manufacturer for this one
