Rare Thonet "Sample" Chairs?

Have not seen these before. If the price is right, they might be worth picking up for the novelty factor alone. I kind of like them. Inspired by the Eames prototype, no doubt.

With the expected comfort...
With the expected comfort level of those armrests, I can see why it would not have made the move to a production model.
Perhaps a final 90 degree bend at the armrest ends to create a flat strip on which to rest your arms might have improved the comfort?

Don't know if I would call that a right price.
Can't collect everything and don't know what I'd do with them since as someone pointed out, they aren't exactly comfortable. Feel like money would be better spent going towards the special things I really do like. Opinions on the price point?

In my opinion. The regular version of this chair can be found for quite cheap. I would probably only keep one of these chairs for display.
