glad we could solve the mystery of this sideboard. Sadly it's turned out not be Heritage - I had an inkling as it didn't look like it was manufactured to Heritage quality either - but it's a lovely looking piece.

Several possibilities..
Could be the supplier of the plywood for the backing?
(seen this often)
A retailer's mark?
Some sort of industry/ national standard?
RHF
PHF
'Furniture' seems likely for the last letter..maybe?
Elliot's of Newbury, (EON) manufactured in Newbury, Berkshire, UK..so no correlation there.
I can't take the credit for the ID, that belongs to Cft, but am certain now too, looking at the undercarriage, that's it's by EON.
