I just picked up this 6ft round rosewood table which says Eames Herman Miller Zeeland Michigan on the back. I don't have the correct base for it and I don't know how to connect the two sides together (underneath there are little metal balls in holes in the wood on one side and empty holes on the other). I can't seem to find an image of the table on line, it seems too big for the standard dining room Eames base. Any thoughts.

Wow!
Now that we can see what you've got, I must say that top looks spectacular.
It is common for larger pieces of corporate furniture to be designed for knock-down handling. Office buildings in the US are notorious for having inadequately-sized service elevators.
I'd like to see a closeup of the holes you mentioned, but HM may be able to help you with any specific joinery hardware.
HM Company Store
Call the Herman Miller Company store in Zeeland, they always have bases for sale.
