you are making a big mistak...
you are making a big mistake not having any of the old springs replaced if they are worn out. If they are still good
use them by all means. These are sofas used for comfort not to be judged like a dog at a dog show. points off.
To much is made of old interior parts.
Hallingdale is perhaps the best fabric in the market today. That is the only fabric we will put on chairs that are danish!! as they have the original look.
I have a 1950ties H.J. Wegner sofa and chair, in blond oak. The upholstery still looks good & so does the internal springs. The springs are sandwiched between a layer of foam. Then its all covered with the original wool material. I need to replace the foam, as it has lost its bounce. I am hoping some one is familiar with how and where in Canada, I can get a reliable upholsterer or company to replace the foam.
Thank you kindly!
