Question about a Clock Nelson? Umanoff?  

Hi all,
just picked up this clock at the flea market over the weekend and had a few questions. Does anyone know when these were made, back says model number 622 662. I understand this is one of the later ones, the hands are Nelson but did he have anything to do with the design or was this from the Umanoff era, (or neither)? Also, did these originally have a second hand? It's in great shape, just popped a C battery in, slapped it on the wall and it's ticking right along.
