My 50th...
I have a 50th anniversary Walnut and it has a snap button at the edge. Also, here is a link showing the clips that the cushion slides into.

I meant to say you can not hurt the cushion push it away from you and it will come off real easy,
I have been working on them all day today I need fiberboards to attach the leather I am redoing 2 chairs right now, sorry abou the bad typing ,

the leather on the new chairs is thinner. When they work the cow hide, they put it through a rolling pin sorta machine and make it thinner and thinner so that it covers more area. This is why the new leather is different. But it is still good leather and will last a long time. Also, the foam cushions on the new chairs are better then the old down.
