Hello All
Trying to get some feeling on this Prototype Milo Baughman Recliner 74 in Leather. It has no name on it but I am told from a very reliable source that it is a original made for a client. What is everyone else thoughts on this.
Thank you

Looks just like what DWR is selling. What makes you think its a prototype....or even a special order for that matter?

Because it has two foot rest instead of one as on DWR and was told that it was by owner.

Wow! That clearly is a prototype. With evidence like the owner telling you, why would you even have to ask? That chair belongs in a museum.

Hi
I'm not familiar with Baughman's work but I would say this is rather
an option or special order from the original owner, than a prototype.
A prototype is rather a model or form leading up to the final finished product.
Custom order can make something valuable for the passionate collector, but could also make it less appealing for the bigger market.
Are you a dealer, looking for info on selling these or planning to keep them?
Anyways, all the best with it!

Special order
Hello
I will have to agree with you that it is a special order not a prototype. I agree that it might take a special person to want it. I am not a dealer just a collector and one who appreciates this era of furniture. There is a possibility I could be willing to sell it.!!
Best

different arm configuration on Baughman 74 recliner
I have found that there are some Milo Baughman 74 recliners that have a joined end at the front end of the arms rather that having arms that overlap. Is this a curiosity or just another version?
thanks
bookie
