Mornin' Everyone.
I just picked up a set of 4 early 90's Bertoia side chairs that have significant chrome loss from the area under the seat pad.
No broken welds or deep rust - just loss of chrome in the same shape as the seat pad.
I've read about the durability and cost-effectiveness of powder coating.
Has anyone here tried re-chroming or other metal refinishing options?
I'm not sure if there are companies offering after-market "dipping" services to create a finish like the Knoll outdoor-approved finishes offered on Bertoia pieces.
Any thoughts or experiences would be much appreciated.
