I've seen this chair often attributed to Ib Kofod Larsen although I am not convinced that is true. I believe it was distributed by Selig....

The design of the back of...
The design of the back of this chair is identical to a couple of different Selig chairs that are identified in the Selig catalogs as being by Kofod-Larsen -- although the same back slats, mounted upside down, are also on the "Poul Jensen" Z-Chair by Selig. However, the chair you post has arms that are not familiar to me, with "wings" that are similar to the Selig "Picket Back" chair. However, a similar arm appears on a chair identified as Kofod-Larsen in this Selig magazine ad. It is the chair that has the darkest upholstery fabric in this image.

tchp...
thank you for the images...I have the same chair as the OP, identical in every way save for the armrests, which on mine are quite different. It has no markings of any kind except the cushions still retain the Selig tags.
I have seen my chair being sold as Kofod Larsen in the past but have always had my doubts it wasn't by an in house designer, due to variants in the armrests especially.... similarly it is my understanding this sort of thing has caused confusion when correctly identifying some Grete Jalk pieces, variants of her original works often also done by in house designers.
This thread reminded me I still have this chair, long forgotten in storage. My tastes have since changed, but still...not a bad looking chair at all 🙂
added: closer inspection of my chair reveals back slats are not like the OP's as previously thought but like the Z chair..

I have only seen your chair a couple of other times, and have always liked it. The ones I have seen have back slats where the pointed-out part is about in the middle of the slat. The Z chairs seem to have the point down quite low, so it could be this is yet another variation on that theme.

Exactly!
tchp...those are precisely the photos I've been trying to find for the last 20 minutes...my chair for sure, the back slats look correct to mine as well.
Thank you for taking the time to post that...

I have this chair.
I have two like the ones initially posted. I don't know a thing about them but I'm eager to find out. The backs looks just like other Selig pieces I've had but the straps are different.

i have the exact set as in the last above photo with the scooped arm rests (although my cushions were teal PVC, since replaced). there is a made in denmark embossing on the inside of the front stretcher of the chair and ottoman but no selig label. someone told me they think it was a peter hvidt but i haven't been able to confirm that.
