That is very helpful to know, and a bit surprising. I can't think of any major department store retailer here in the states that also produces their own high end furniture, (private labeling, sure, but production...not so much) but then again, furniture production and design in denmark is much more a part of danish culture, I suppose I shouldn't be surprised.
Ok, well, shows what I know, er don't rather. Still like to know something more definitive about the rectangle back chair, but those who have contribued have cleared up a few things for me.
Also...I know there is a stool floating around that has similar legs, and is often attributed to prouve. here's a link to it:
