Try a google search, 'novelty metal wall art'
It is most likely a new piece, made in China.
It is everywhere. I saw walls of it at a gas station gift shop
a few weeks ago just outside Port Aux Basque, NL
Imported by a Canadian company. I took a few cell phone pics but
not so great. I was probably laughing.
Some look great on a wall in Palm Springs by the pool but it is slightly
kitch. Artesian House makes flip-flop ones and race cars, clowns and
balloons.
Carmella Soprano had the 'musical notes' in her living room above the
fireplace. (It was a decorator joke.)
I'm sure you are just looking for value. Some do bring crazy prices.
C Jere Bridge Sculpture.
Just this weekend (January 2011)I purchased a signed and dated C. Jere at an estate sale just like the one that "fastfwd" posted a picture of. The signature was written vertically on the front at the bottom of one of the bridge supports on the right end of the sculpture. So you might look more closely there.
The one I purchased was priced at $595.00 but I got a great deal because it was left over after the sale ended. The Sales research indicated that his last bridge sculpture sold at auction for $900.00. Supposedly mine dated 1970 was earlier than any they new of. Of course I don't know if any of this is true. I hadn't heard of C. Jere before this weekend.
I'd share a picture of mine but I don't know how to do that.

Hey Shawn Coffey!
Thanks for joining this thread. I need some info on a Jere piece. It is signed and also has a small plate on the back with the Jere signature inscribed in metal.
Just wondering what the additional metal plate with engraved signature on the back means? Were these higher end pieces? Later pieces?
Thank you.
