Hello,
I just picked up five chairs that look to me like a variation of a Pollock Executive Chair and I'm a little confused by them. Hopefully someone can help me to ID them. To me, the body looks exactly the same, but the upholstery is vinyl. The base has four legs and is on metal glides(?) not casters. The base is fixed, it does not have swivel or tilt mechanisms. There are Knoll labels on the bottom of three of the chairs. One is stamped with a date which looks to be SEP 23 1974. Was there a variation made like this that any of you know of or do I have something different.
Thanks.

Yes there have been variation...
Yes there have been variations over the years including casters vs glides, 4 legs vs 5 legs. I'm not too sure about not being able to swivel. Just a headsup if you're not already aware of it. To adjust the height, you press the little ring at the very bottom of the base and turn the chair either way to go up or down.
Thanks for the replies so...
Thanks for the replies so far.
It was the base having no tilt or swivel that threw me off most.
I'm fairly certain it is vinyl. One of the chairs had a small tear where I could see the back. I'm by no means an expert, but to me it looked like I understand vinyl to look. It had a backing to it, kind of like a webbing. I am attaching a picture. I couldn't get it to focus that close so I'm not sure if its much use or not.
Thanks again.
